We arrived on Sunday in South Beach to a slurry of activity in front of the AQUA Hotel. One of the main handling companies that drove work from Seattle to Miami Beach via LA had five trucks that they were unloading. Sam and I ending up securing a spot right in fron of the hotel and unloaded into the room pretty quickly.
Parking the proved to be a challenge. We left the big van in a staging lot at the convention center that was specified for the Art Basel trucks. The guy at the lot said we could leave it there for 24 hours. That was cool because my bud Jeff and his girl Cari were waiting for us to go to supper. We ended up on Lincoln at this Italian joint with a free bottle of wine. After we checked out the Parmalot Geletaria which is always GOOD!
The parking scheme ended up well as we drove the van out to the airport and there it sits until Sunday.
